An After Session
with Hettie Judah
Thursday 22 October
6 - 8pm

SOLD OUT
We are excited to welcome Hettie Judah to Lincoln for an ‘After Session’ - an evening of art conversation.
This is a collaborative event between BASE, General Practice [gP] and Lark Books. BASE and [gP] have selected four local artists: Nathan Baxter, Jayne Cooper, Jane Frederick and Luna Shinkins to present their current practice, and Lark will have Hettie’s newest book available for you to buy at the event too.
Event details:
Date: 22 October 2026
Doors open: 5.30pm
Event duration: 6 - 8pm
Location: BASE, 49 Canwick Road, LN5 8HE
Limited tickets: (£10) SOLD OUT
Refreshments are available across the evening.
During the event we will hear from four local artists who will have work on display at BASE, followed by the opportunity to talk about all things art. Hettie Judah takes a seat at the centre for an open, hour-long conversation, taking questions about the art world, about her work, about navigating a creative life.
Afterwards, stay for refreshments and a chat. Lark Books will be selling copies of Hettie's new book, How to Enter the Art World After - a myth-busting guide for artists whose lives are complicated and human.
If you’re looking for an evening of art, chit chat with friends and a drink, we’d love to see you there.
The exhibition will be open from 12 - 4pm from Friday 23 October to Sunday 25 October and is free entry.
