Erin Taylor
exhibition open:
7 - 22 November 2026
Apropos is a culmination of experiments surrounding domestic spaces developed from Erin Taylor’s previous mono print series ‘I don’t know how to make a cheese sauce’. Sound, ceramics and various printmaking techniques have been used to explore the modern seven domestic spaces, considering human impact, external critique and the significance of the domestic artefact. Apropos embraces the human impact to found objects, and explores the wider impact of space on people.
The exhibition will be open from 12 - 5pm on Saturdays and Sundays until 22 November.
Free entry, no need to book. All welcome!

About Erin Taylor:
Erin Taylor is a multidisciplinary artist living and working in Lincolnshire. Their practice centres around man-made and domestic artefacts. During their residency at BASE, they have been exploring the nature of domestic spaces, how humans co-habit and the nature of time-saving appliances.
Using their background in ceramics and wheel-thrown pottery, Erin has explored and experimented with traditional printmaking techniques and different ceramic sculpting processes, and documenting our existence within domestic spaces, how humans interact with objects and the marks that we leave on objects and spaces.
